It's no secret that there are some fantastic restaurants in west Dorset.
So it will come as no surprise that some of them are representing Dorset in the prestigious Trencherman's Awards.
The coveted awards celebrate the very best of the south west and allow gourmets to champion their favourite chefs, restaurants, hotels, dining pubs and front-of-house teams.

Tom Robinson, the owner of Tom's Lyme Regis said: "It is an absolute pleasure to be recognised, especially as we have only been around for three years.
"We love the feeling. We love the service and the personal touches we have with all our guests."
The manager of The Acorn Inn in Evershot Natalie Legg is thrilled to be shortlisted.
She said: "The competition is really tough so we are excited and pleased to see we have been shortlisted.
"We will be anxious to see if we will make it to the next stage. You just hope for the best but there are lots of people on the shortlist so we will just keep doing what we are doing, serving good food, and hope we are in the next stage because that would be the cherry on top."
This final round of voting closes at 11pm on Wednesday, February 21. The finalists will be revealed on Tuesday, February 27 and the winners announced at the grand prizegiving and supper at historic Bovey Castle on Monday, April 29.
Last year more than 30,000 votes were cast and four Dorset establishments made the grand finals.
