A closure planned for Beaminster Tunnel is no longer needed, Dorset Council has said.
Work had been scheduled to take place on February 9-10, with a road closure planned to allow engineers to repair three manhole covers.
But when an emergency closure was put in place last month due to a hazardous drain cover, the works planned for this month were carried out at the same time.
Although this month's closure is still displayed on Dorset Council's online roadworks map, the council has confirmed that it is no longer needed and the A3066 will remain open as normal.
