An animal rescue centre has six animals ready to find their forever homes.
Each month, RSPCA Taylors Rehoming Centre will share with the Echo some of the pets it has ready for adoption.
Fox
Fox is a 13-year-old black and white male. He is a more independent boy who likes a fuss when he wants but isn’t always in the mood for attention.
He is not keen on being picked up and needs to be allowed to come to you for a fuss. He is looking for a quiet adult only home where he is the only animal.
He can get itchy skin and while at the cattery is on medication to help stop this. Once settled in a home he may be able to come off this, however it may be something he will need long term.
Sparky
Sparky is a 12-year-old tabby and white male. He is a sweet older boy who enjoys a fuss when he wants and also like his space sometimes.
He came in with bad skin due to fleas and bad teeth. His skin is now much better with regular flea treatment which would need to be kept up to ensure he doesn’t get itchy again, and he has also had quite a few teeth out.
He is looking for an adult only home and to be the only animal.
Sarina
Sarina is a seven-year-old black and white female. She is a shy girl especially around people she doesn’t know, however once she has got to know you she loves a fuss and can be very affectionate.
She finds the cattery environment quite stressful as she does not like other cats so she has started overgrooming while here. She is on a special diet and medication to help reduce this and she would need to be rehomed on this, however once settled in her home she should be able to come off this, but may be something she needs longer term.
She is looking for a quiet adult only home and to be the only animal so she can feel safe and gain confidence.
Bluey and Jewel
Bluey is a two-year-old white lop rabbit, Jewel is a one-year-old black and white rabbit. Jewel was born at the centre after her mum came in heavily pregnant.
She has been paired up while here with Bluey and the pair get on really well and are looking to be rehomes together. They are both friendly rabbits who will come up for a fuss and some food.
They will need a secure outside space to explore.
Boo and Otis
Boo and Otis are a pair of one-year-old rabbits. Boo originally came in pregnant but sadly none of her babies survived. Otis came in as a stray found in someone’s garden. They have been paired up while at the centre and get on very well so are looking for a home together.
Boo is a confident rabbit who is quite independent and would need confident handling. They will need a secure outside space to explore joined to their hutch so they could come and go as they want.
Camilla and Crown
Camilla is a two-year-old black and white rabbit who came into the centre heavily pregnant and gave birth to four babies a few days after arriving.
Crown is one of Camilla's babies and eight months old now. They get on well and are looking to be rehomed together. They are sweet rabbits who will need a little time and patience to feel safe and settle.
Camilla is a little shy initially but both will come up to you for food.
