Multiple fire crews rushed to a person in 'distress' who had become stuck in a lift in Lyme Regis this morning.
At 8.35am on Friday, January 19 fire crews from Lyme Regis and Charmouth fire stations were called to rescue someone who had become trapped in a lift.
The person was uninjured in the incident, which occurred in a building on Charmouth Road.
A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Service said: "We were called to a property on Charmouth Road, Lyme Regis at 8.35am today following reports of someone stuck in a lift, who was in distress.
"Two fire engines were mobilised, from Lyme Regis and Charmouth and on arrival found one person stuck in a lift. Crews released the person from the lift and the stop message came in at 8.52am."
