A talk with a Dorset-based author is coming to Bridport later this month.
Bridport Library will be hosting the event on Wednesday, January 24 at 1.30pm which will focus on how people can become paid authors.
She also runs a creative writing course which will be covered in the talk.
Pamela Mann, from Bere Regis, has lived in Dorset for just over two years, having moved to the county from Herefordshire.
She was inspired to move to the county after visiting the Bridport Literary Festival for 14 years.
A spokesperson for the event said: "Bridport Library is pleased to be hosting a talk with published author and writer Pamela Mann.
"The talk will look at her writing journey and how to get published and earn a living from writing. Pamela Mann has also run creative writing courses and will be dedicating part of her talk to this."
Tickets are free and can be booked at Bridport Library directly or online via EventBrite.
"We hope to see you there."
Pamela has published two historical novels based in 16th century England called The Birth of Gossip and the latest of which, Men Rule, which was published in the summer of 2023.
In both of her books, Pamela likes to weave her fictional characters into the setting of real historical figures.
