Two exciting speakers have been announced for local events.
Simon Goldsack and Brian Petit will speak at the Bridport and District Gardening Club meetings across January and February. The meetings will take place at Bridport WI Hall.
Mr Goldsack is the owner of Holme Garden Centre near Wareham and has more than 25 years' of experience as a garden designer, nurseryman and landscaper into the creation of the gardens at Holme.
He has converted a 24-acre former fruit farm into a new public garden and also holds the national collection of Hypericum.
The garden designer will talk about where the idea of the garden came from, where it is up to now and where it hopes to be in the future on Thursday, January 18, at 7.30pm.
Mr Petit on the other hand will be providing a talk on Thursday, February 15, at 7.30pm about Dorset’s wildlife.
He is a wildlife photographer with a wealth of knowledge and expertise about all different species large and small and how best to photograph them.
