Maintenance work will force a road in Bridport to shut in February.
National Grid will be carrying out the work on Pymore Road between its junction with Thread Mill Lane and Gypsy Lane, a distance of approximately 275 metres.
The closure will allow National Grid to carry out tree pruning around power lines.
These works are due to start on February 14 and last for three days until February 16.
The road will be closed from the hours of 8.30am until 4.30pm to allow workers to work safely.
A diversion will be put in place that runs via Coneygar Road up St Andrew's Road (A3066) and onto Watford Lane before re-joining Pymore Road to allow access to Thread Mill Lane
National Grid will publicise the road closure by placing information boards on the road in the area to inform the public of the works, carry out a letter drop to local residents directly affected by the works, and it will sign the diversion route.
