An audience from across the county gathered to watch a night of sparkling fashion in Abbotsbury.
The sparkle-tastic fashion show was hosted by Colmers Hill Fashion Boutique, based at Symondsbury Estate, and From My Mother's Garden of Abbey Farm, Abbotsbury.
It showcased more than 50 casual to full-on sparkle outfits in the Abbey Tithe Barn. It started with everyday casual wear, colourful and creative wear, and built up to a spectacle of full-on sparkle ready for Christmas.
Weymouth-based Honnor & Queens provided the headdresses, tiaras and hats used in the show.
The audience was then treated to a meal in Cherries located next to the Tithe Barn.
Penny Callaghan, owner of Colmers Hill Fashion and designer of From My Mother's Garden, said: "It was a magical event. The show was compered by Alicen Dines, a Bridport-based celebrant, and there were 10 models across the age range which meant we could show our variety of fashion collections."
Pauline Bale from Chideock said: "We all enjoyed the buzzy show and the food and appreciate the hard work that goes into the organising. Well done everyone, the food was absolutely delicious and there was a great atmosphere."
The models were all shapes, sizes and ages and included members of the Colmers Hill team.
The medieval barn has recently had some flooring and electricals upgraded by Ilchester Estates so that it can be used for events and weddings. Abbey Farm is set around the ruins of the Abbey and the location for artists, artisans and growers as well as Cherries café.
Colmers Hill Fashion is an award-winning boutique based at Symondsbury Estate. It stocks designer brands including Naya, Desigual, Joseph Ribkoff, Grizas, Marble and many others. From My Mother’s Garden is newly based at Abbey Farm and is designed by Penny Callaghan who also owns Colmers Hill Fashion.
This coming weekend the Tithe Barn is being used again for the Christmas Market, November 25-26, 11am-4pm, where visitors can get to see the barn along with many local producers and artisans.
