Bridport Blind Club has been enjoying an entertaining autumn including a quiz, a music performance and a trip to Bridport Museum.
At the latest meeting, the club also enjoyed music from the local band Rough Assembly.
The band consisted of instrumentalists playing the banjo, violin, guitar mandolin and bass guitar accompanied by the beating of a cajon, a special drum box named after the Spanish for box.
The club also enjoyed an exercise session with Debbie Jones.
Cheryl Ludgate presented her wonderful WW2 historical memorabilia.
The club is looking forward to hearing Bridport Choral Society once again and the season will finish with a Christmas Party with the traditional jelly.
There is room for more visually impaired members and volunteers to join and the group welcomes people from Bridport and the towns and villages in west Dorset.
The group meets twice a month for a talk, a chat and an afternoon tea on Tuesdays in the United Church Hall.
If you are interested for yourself or someone else who is visually impaired, get in touch. Transport to meetings can usually be provided.
