There are reports of slow traffic in both directions along a stretch of the A35 near Charmouth.
Delays are expected due to an obstruction in the road which is seeing traffic move slowly between the Charmouth Roundabout and The Newlands Holiday Park.
Dorset Council travel map first reported the incident before 8.30am this morning.
The travel said just before 10am that the obstruction was now been cleared and that traffic has returned to normal.
