Dorset RSPCA: 5 pets who are looking for new homes

Located on the border with Hampshire, the centre offers care for its animals in rural surroundings.

Taylor

Gender - Female

Age - Two years old

Breed - Collie (Smooth coat) crossbreed

Colour - Tan/White

Taylor came into the care of the RSPCA after being removed from a situation where she was living in unsuitable conditions.

She has led an extremely sheltered life with limited human interactions, so will take some time to adjust to new surroundings.

Taylor will need patient owners who are happy to show her the ropes of a home environment, which includes housetraining.

She is not used to travelling in a car or being in busy situations so she would suit a more rural home where she can go for quiet, local walks.

Destiny

Breed - Domestic Shorthair crossbreed

Destiny is a cat looking for a "warm and cosy" new home to move into.

She can initially be a bit shy "but once she's used to you she'll be your new best friend.

Destiny has a slight heart murmur which can be common in cats and may never hinder her normal day-to-day activities.

Additionally, she is not to be rehomed within five miles of Southampton (SO16) and may get used to living with another cat or dog if a suitable match

Hop

Age - Three years old

Breed - Domestic

Colour - Tan/Grey

Hop came into the care of the RSPCA due to a welfare concern but is now ready for a new home.

He can be a little nervous but has a sweet nature and enjoys his treats and a bit of calm fuss.

However, he isn't the biggest fan of being picked up but is okay to handle when needed.

Additionally, Hop is looking to live with a female rabbit companion.

Clover and Orchid

Breed - Lionhead (Clover) and Domestic (Orchid)

Colour - Brown/White (Clover) and Grey/White (Orchid)

Clover and Orchid are looking for a home together after being found in a multi-rabbit household.

The "inquisitive pair" are described as enjoying exploring and foraging, and are quite confident around people.

Due to being a lionhead, Clover will need regular brushing to ensure he does not get tangled or matted.
