Part of St Andrews Road in Bridport is set for a month of disruption as works are to be carried out outside of Lidl.
From Monday, October 23 the National Grid will be undertaking work along the A3066 where temporary traffic lights will be introduced. The work is due to end on Friday, November 17.
The stretch of road affected will be from the entrance of the Lidl supermarket up to Moores Biscuits. A temporary clearway will be imposed as people won't be able to park along the affected route.
A spokesperson for the National Grid, said: “This is necessary so we can replace low and high voltage underground cables which will make electricity supplies for customers more reliable and robust, and also enable the connection of low carbon technologies such as electric vehicle chargers and heat pumps.
“We apologise for any disruption that will be caused while this essential work is carried out.”
The National Grid is already carrying out work along South Street which is due to end on Wednesday, October 18.
