A ONE-man performance of Geoffrey Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales is coming to a west Dorset village.
Acclaimed actor and co-founder of Kneehigh Theatre, David Mynne, will bring the show to Wootton Fitzpaine this weekend.
David is returning to Dorset to bring the show to the county with Artsreach, the county’s touring arts charity.
Canterbury Tales is viewed as one of the most important works in English literature.
It presents an ironic and critical portrait of English society in the middle ages, in a series of “bawdy, funny and sometimes shocking” short stories.
The show will come to Wootton Fitzpaine Village Hall on Sunday, October 15.
All performances start at 7.30pm, with tickets and further information on the Artsreach website.
