BOXERS will return to the canvas for the ever-popular Bridport ABC Show Night at Freshwater Beach Holiday Park this November.
It follows the outstanding success of last year’s show, which included chief promoter Alan Slaney receiving the Ian James award for services to the sport.
Slaney is again at the helm to promote the 2023 show, which takes place on Saturday, November 25 with a time to be confirmed.
Between 16 and 18 bouts are planned on the card, featuring Bridport fighters and contestants from as far as Land’s End and Coventry.

Southampton’s Gold Ring will also be in attendance, along with Bristol’s Downend, Newquay and Truro plus a host of local clubs from Dorset.
Among the Bridport contingent stepping into the ring will be Blake Davies, Max Middleton, Jessie Robertson and Benjamin Hall.
Slaney hopes to field between six and eight Bridport fighters on the night.
Speaking to the Bridport News, Slaney said: “We've got some top boys coming down, so as long as their weight stays the same I’ll be more than happy!
“We’ve got a big squad this year but we’ve got a few new ones so I want them to get a few bouts under their belt before they fight in front of a crowd.”
Tickets are available for £20, while a table of ten costs £200. For ringside seats contact Slaney on 01308 425108.
Slaney will also collect sponsorship money for the event on Friday, October 6.
