Trains are running at reduced speeds due to animals on the railway line.

Following the reports of animals on the line, Crewkerne trains have to run at reduced speed on all lines.

Trains running from Exeter St. David’s to London Waterloo which run through Axminster have been disrupted.

A spokesperson for South Western Railway said: “We have been informed of animals on the line at Crewkerne. This means that trains will be running at a reduced speed through this area.

“For further information or onward travel advice please speak to a member of staff or use a station help point.

“We are very sorry for any delay that this may cause to your journey.”

Disruption is expected to continue until 3pm today.
