A TELEVISION audience is invited for a jaunt around Dorset once again this evening.
Dorset: Country and Coast returns to Channel 5 tonight at 8pm.
This week, the third episode of a six part series, will see TV cameras call into Weymouth.
Promoters of the programme say the episode features Weymouth with 'its beautiful golden beaches and historic harbour'.
The show will visit the town's oldest ice cream parlour, Rossi's Ices, which celebrated its 85th anniversary last year. The ice cream parlour was opened in 1937 by a family of Italian immigrants - and is run by the same family 85 years on.
Bennetts Water Gardens in Chickerell and Abbotsbury Swannery will also feature on the programme.
Set in over eight acres, Bennetts Water Gardens hold the National Plant Collection® of Water Lilies with a Claude Monet-style Japanese bridge, tropical house, woodland walks and museum.
Abbotsbury Swannery is the only place in the world where you are able to walk through the heart of a colony of nesting mute swans.
Alan Titchmarsh will narrate the programme, which has already delighted TV viewers with glimpses of Dorset including Weymouth beach's sand sculptures, Mapperton House & Gardens near Beaminster, the Crab House Cafe on Ferrybridge and Oxfords Bakery in Sherborne.
