The calm before the storm meant a town was treated to a stunning fireworks display last night - before Storm Antoni rolled in.
The spectacular show took place at Lyme Regis' famous Cobb to kick off carnival week.

A whole host of events will take place throughout the week in the build-up to the grand carnival procession next Saturday (August 12).
The annual procession will start off at 8pm and make its way down Pound Street, Broad Street, through Cobb Gate and along the seafront to Cobb Square.
Entries will include individuals and groups, local organisations and businesses plus majorettes.
Judging of entries takes place in Holmbush Car Park at 7.30pm.
Other events include Disco at the Marine, a children's beach treasure hunt, a family dog show and junior town crier competition.
Events scheduled for today include the Urban Displays Mountain Bike Stunt Team performing on the roof above Amusement Arcade & Swim at 1.30 and 3.30pm plus the popular torchlight procession at 8pm.
At the moment, these events have not been cancelled.
We have contacted organisers to confirm whether or not these events are going ahead as Storm Antoni is forecast to batter the county.
A full carnival timetable can be found on Lyme Regis Carnival's website.
