Here is a selection of animals from the Ashley Heath Animal Centre in Dorset who are looking for their forever home.
Located on the border with Hampshire, the centre offers care for its animals in rural surroundings.
A few animals from the centre are listed below but more can be found on the centre's website.
If you wanted to donate to the Ashley Heath Animal Centre to support their work you can do so at their website.
Daisy
Gender - Female
Age - Nine years old
Breed - Terrier
Colour - White/Tan
If you want to adopt Daisy you can view their full profile here.
Daisy is a dog who is looking for her forever home as she is struggling to adjust back to kennel life after coming back into care due to her owners circumstances.
She is described as a "perfect little companion" and loves nothing more than cuddles with her owners and snoozing in her bed.
Ashley Heath Animal Centre is looking to rehome Daisy as an only pet as although sociable when out on walks she can suffer from a jealous side and prefers to have her humans all to herself.
Howard
Gender - Male
Age - Six years old
Breed - Domestic Shorthair crossbreed
Colour - Tabby-White
If you want to adopt Howard you can view their full profile here.
Howard arrived at the centre with a group of others due to a welfare concern and is now looking for a quiet home to settle in at.
In his previous home he had little interaction with people and very few visitors so it would be ideal if he could find a home with owners who have some experience with nervous cats.
Whilst in the RSPCA's care, Howard has been fed on a dental diet and this will need to continue in the home. All veterinary history will be passed to adopters on enquiry.
Princess
Gender - Female
Age - 15 years old
Breed - Domestic Longhair crossbreed
Colour - Black, white and brown
If you want to adopt Princess you can view their full profile here.
Princess is a cat who arrived at Ashley Heath as a stray and is now in search of a new home.
Despite being a senior lady, Princess enjoys the attention from the staff and volunteers in the cattery but also appreciates her alone time.
Due to her long coat, regular grooming is necessary for Princess, although she will let you know when she has had enough.
She is hoping to find a pet-free home where she can relax and bask in the love of her new family.
While in their care, Princess received dental work, and all veterinary history will be provided to potential adopters upon request.
She can be rehomed with children aged 10 and above but not within a 5-mile radius of Dorchester (DT2).
Minnie and Mickey
Gender - Female (Minnie) and Male (Mickey)
Age - Three years old
Breed - New Zealand
Colour - White
If you want to adopt Mickey and Minnie you can view their full profile here.
Minnie and Mickey are a pair of young adult New Zealand white rabbits who were rescued from a property where there were a large number of other rabbits living in unsuitable conditions.
They have been in RSPCA care for more than a year now, and are hoping to find their forever home.
Given their circumstances of arriving at the centre, they both have a nervous side, but Minnie can be keen to interact with people if there is a treat in it for her.
They have been treated for e. cuniculi, therefore it is possible that they may remain carriers, so should not be homed with other rabbits.
