A Burton Bradstock society is hosting their 'biggest event of the year' to celebrate their 50th anniversary.

The Burton Bradstock Village Society is hosting its 50th anniversary Flower and Produce Show on Saturday, July 15 from 2.15pm.

The show boasts 67 competition categories for villagers of all ages and entry forms are available on the village website, in the Posto Office or Library for 50p or a 70p fee on the day.

Prizes can be won and range from trophies to cash.

Visitors are invited to head along and browse on the day and also to watch the cup winners be awarded at 3.15pm which will be swiftly followed by an auction of the exhibits.

There is a £1 entry fee for visitors.
