A family-run flower shop that has been providing Bridport with colourful bouquets for 19 years has announced it will be closing.
Lavender Blue Flowers located on 1, Lilliput Lane behind the Waitrose, has announced that it will be closing the shop for the last time on Saturday, May 27.
The owner Sue Clark, 64, has decided to retire after more than 26 years as a florist saying that the 'time was right'.
She added that she wants to try new things and spend more time with her family including her grandkids - who she is looking forward to being able to pick up from school.
Sue Clark added: "We would like to thank all of our customers for sharing the happy times, the sad times and everything in between. We will miss you all."
The florist catered to weddings and funerals alike and was open six days a week.
