A theatre group is on the hunt for some very specific items to stage its version of a classic horror story.
The Bridport Stage Company is looking for little figures of gargoyles or scary beasties for its production of Dracula, which is now in rehearsal.
Valerie, the director and ex drama teacher, said: "We are staging Dracula to raise funds for Samaritans, a very worthy and much needed charity.
"We rehearse on Mondays at the British Legion Hall where last summer we performed the award winning play The Magdalen Whitewash."
Dracula will be performed on June 14, 16 and 17 at 7.30pm at the British Legion Hall in Victoria Grove, Bridport. Tickets cost £10 from the Tourist Information Centre in Bucky Doo Square.
The group is an inclusive non-auditioning group where any age and level of experience are welcomed.
"We have members as young as 7 and as old as me," says Valerie.
