An entertainment venue was an unusual destination for a firefighters' training exercise.
Fire staff from both Bridport and Beaminster Fire Station carried out a breathing apparatus exercise using guide-lines at Bridport Electric Palace.
The art-deco era Electric Palce was chosen for the training session on Monday, March 27 because of its small enclosed spaces and larger open spaces, all in the dark.
It tested firefighters' skills in searching for missing people in a variety of dark spaces in the event of a fire.
A Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "Crews searched the building looking for missing casualties following a simulated fire laying guide-lines as a reference point to search off.
"We would like to say a huge thank you to the management and team of Bridport Electric Palace for allowing us to use the venue and for being so accommodating."
