Dorset County Hospital's emergency department has flooded.
DCH, in Dorchester, experienced flooding overnight last night.
It says University Hospitals Dorset, Dorset Healthcare, Yeovil Hospital and Salisbury District Hospital are supporting patients while it deals with the problem.
It is also urging people to make sure they use the correct NHS service.
A spokesperson for Dorset County Hospital said: "There has been a flood in our hospital overnight. The emergency department has been affected and the incident is being managed with the support of our partner hospitals - University Hospitals Dorset, Dorset Healthcare, Yeovil Hospital and Salisbury District Hospital.
"To make sure our emergency department can treat those in need of urgent care, please use the right NHS service and make use of local Urgent Treatment Centres (UTC) and Minor Injuries Units (MIU).
"Our other services are running as normal while this incident is resolved. Thank you."
