A LANE near Charmouth is set to be closed for a day next week.
Stonebarrow Lane near Charmouth in West Dorset is set to close to allow BT Openreach safe access to replace poles that are in the area.
The lane in its entirety - a distance of around 1.2 miles - will close so that work can be carried out on Monday, March 27.
The closure will be in place from 8am until 4pm.
The notice is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users.
There will be no diversion for traffic throughout this temporary closure.
The lane begins at a junction to Berne Lane near Newlands Holiday park and runs until the Chardown Hill car park.
