Today marks five years since Dorset was hit by snow for a second time in a matter of weeks when a 'mini Beast from the East' struck the county.
After experiencing extreme weather when a severe spell of snow and low temperatures gripped the country in February 2018, the south west experienced a second hit on March 19.
The Weymouth Half Marathon was called off at the time and Dorchester Town and Bridport had their games postponed.
Travel was widely disrupted and schools were closed again as the Met Office issuing a weather warning to resident urging them to 'be prepared.'
Our readers sent in some photos of west Dorset looking beautiful in the snow.
