As a local resident I would like to comment on your coverage of the meeting held in the Town Council chamber.

Personally, I had come to accept that Vearse Farm is going to come into being and went along to the meeting having received an invitation letter on behalf of the developers.

I was expecting to be able to speak to representatives of the firms involved, but although there were many people there, none of the reps were wearing any form of identification which in turn led to a lot of confusion on the part of the public.

Also there were illustrative display boards which were relatively small scale and not easy to read, a model of the site would have been useful.

I stayed for an hour or so, but left feeling that the developers might have missed a golden opportunity to get their message across, which is a shame!
