A poet and oral historian is to give a talk about the traditions of seine fishing along Chesil Beach.
Oral history writer and poet Sarah Acton will be giving a talk about the traditions of seine fishing communities along Chesil Beach and remembering the communities involved locally for generations.
The talk is on Wednesday, March 22 and will be held at The Salt House in West Bay. It will feature readings from Sarah’s new book together with stories from contributors, photos and a Q&A.
Signed copies of the book will be available to buy at the talk, and refreshments available also.
