A KEY A-road on the Dorset and Somerset border was closed earlier today after a crash involving a car and a motorbike.
Slow traffic was reported on the A3066 near Mosterton following the incident, which occurred at about 2.30pm this afternoon (Sunday, February 19).
Two vehicles - a car and a motorbike - were involved in the crash near to the junction with Lecher Lane and the key A-road was closed in both directions for about two hours.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said it was called to the scene at about 2.27pm to a report of a collision between a car and a motorbike.
"Officers [are] in attendance with ambulance service [and the] road is currently closed," they added.
The crash has been cleared and the road has now reopened.
