New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 18 of Dorset’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.
Mark Hix's Oyster and Fish House in Lyme Regis received the top rating of five on January 12 following its latest inspection.
The Acorn Inn in Evershot also received the top score on the same date.
Other food establishments in the area which received five-star ratings include:

• Rated 5: The Oyster and Fish House, Cliff Cottage, Cobb Road, Lyme Regis; rated on January 12
• Rated 5: Starbucks Coffee at 10 Peel Centre Retail Park Babylon Hill; rated on January 11
• Rated 5: Trenchermans at Old Dairy Compton Road, Over Compton; rated on January 11
• Rated 5: Posh Partridge at 29 High East Street, Dorchester; rated on January 10
• Rated 5: ThE Gorge Cafe at 39 South Street, Dorchester; rated on January 10
• Rated 5: Hardys at 11 Trinity Street, Dorchester; rated on January 11
• Rated 5: Food To Go at 22 - 23 South Street, Dorchester; rated on January 6
• Rated 5: Somewhere Else Fishy at Shop Unit 2 Westbridge Park, Sherborne; rated on January 5
• Rated 5: Domihno's Pizza at Dominos Pizza Great Western Industrial Estate, Dorchester; rated on January 3
