Dinosaur sleepovers will be returning to the Dorset Museum in Dorchester this winter.
The popular family event gives members of the public the chance to experience a night at the museum, complete with fun and varied activities led by the Jurassic Coast Experts.
Activities will include fossil polishing, a fossil hunt, Jurassic-themed arts and crafts and story-time in Hardy's Dorset Gallery.
The tickets will also include hot chocolate and biscuits in the evening and tea and coffee for the grown-ups.
The sleepover will be complete with film screenings for older and younger visitors and breakfast the next morning.
This year there will be a half-term sleepover on Wednesday, February 15 and a weekend event on Saturday, March 18.
The event is perfectly suited for dinosaur lovers aged 6-12 and their families.
All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The museum asks that parents and carers use discretion when booking to decide if the event is appropriate for their children.
Tickets cost £25 per person regardless of age, bring along a sleeping bag and torch for a meteoric experience.
All proceeds go to the Jurassic Coast Trust, looking after England’s only Natural World Heritage Site for present and future generations to enjoy.
