BRIDPORT Museum is set to be closed throughout January and the early days of February.
The museum closed its doors for the Christmas break at 3pm on Thursday, December 22.
This break will be a longer closure than usual though as the museum will remain shut until Saturday, February 11 due to maintenance works and volunteer training.
The Local History Centre will be opening in January though, with the centre accepting visitors from Wednesday, January 11.
The museum thanked all its visitors, supporters and volunteers who have helped throughout 2022.
Bridport Museum recently appointed two new managers, with Sophie Bull and Helen Horler sharing the role in a joint role.
The two have joined the museum after former director Emily Hicks departed earlier this year.
The pair are familiar faces to the museum with Sophie previously holding the position of the museum trust's volunteer manager and Helen having provided consultancy services for the trust over the last five years
