A car caught fire on a busy road.
Firefighters were called to the A3066 Bridport to Beaminster road shortly before 5.40pm on Friday evening.
A crew from Bridport rushed to the scene, between Gore Cross and Melplash, to extinguish the blaze.

Road closures were put in place and the council's highways team was also requested due to fluid on the road.

According to Travel Dorset, the road remained closed between Watford Lane (Bradpole) and Camesworth Lane (Melplash) late into the night while investigation work continued.
It is open as normal again today (Saturday).
