A NUMBER of temporary road closures will be in place this Friday for the Beaminster Christmas lights switch-on.
The closure notice will prohibit vehicles and bikes from being on the following roads except those that are taking part in the event or emergency vehicles.
The following roads will be closed:
- A3066 between Tunnel Road roundabout and its junction with B3163 from 4:30 pm until 8:30 pm.
- Church Street between the junction with the A3066 and the junction with St Mary Well Street from 1pm until 8:30 pm
- The whole of Beaminster Square between 1 pm and 8:30 pm.
A diversion will be in place during this time with road users being advised to take the B3163, the A356 and the B3066 routes.
