A two-vehicle crash closed part of the A35 near Bridport today.
Emergency services were called to a two-vehicle collision near Bridport, close to the Shipton Lane junction, shortly before 1.15pm this afternoon.

Police, along with the ambulance service, rushed to the scene and road closures were put in place for a number of hours.
Traffic was brought to a standstill and residents reported heavy congestion in the surrounding villages as drivers were advised to find alternative routes.

According to Dorset Police, nobody was seriously injured and the vehicles have since been recovered.
The local authority was called to deal with an oil spillage.
The road is now open as normal.
