LATEST: Woman missing from Crewkerne found after police appeal

Police say they are 'very concerned' for the welfare of a 20-year-old woman who is missing.

Dorset Police received a report shortly before 9.40pm on Sunday raising concern for the welfare of Isabella, who is from West Dorset.

She had been in Plymouth during the day and was due to arrive back at Crewkerne railway station, but did not arrive as expected.

Isabella is described as slim to medium build with shoulder-length dark hair and blonde streaks at the front.

She was last seen wearing dark trousers with criss-cross laces around the ankle, a floaty dark coloured T-shirt with a pig on the front, long woollen gloves, a faded black denim jacket and light pink Ugg-style boots and was carrying a small leather black bag in the shape of bat wings.

Following enquiries, police believe Isabella may have since travelled to the Bridgewater area.

Inspector Craig Tiernan, of Dorset Police, said: “We are very concerned for Isabella’s welfare and enquiries are underway to find her.

“I would urge anyone who has seen Isabella – or a woman matching the description given – to please get in touch.

“Finally, if you see this appeal Isabella, please make contact with us or your family as we all just want to make sure you are OK.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Isabella's whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk/contact or by calling 101, quoting incident number 27:556.
