This December a church will be filled with festivity and fanfare to support charity.
The show ‘An Advent Fanfare’ will be held at St Mary’s, Beaminster on Saturday, December 3 at 4pm.
It will feature Malcolm Archer on organ, Winston Leese on trumpet, and Jan Wyld performing festive readings.
Tickets are £10 and include mulled wine with all proceeds going to The Martin Schellenberg Music Trust (TMSMT).
There will be a raffle of Christmas cake, wine, and chocolates.
Tickets for the concert will be available from Yarn Barton Community Centre, 6 Fleet Street, Beaminster and The Church Office, 8 Hogshill Street, Beaminster.
The TMSMT was created to honour the life and legacy of Martin Schellenberg (1959-2021).
The purpose of TMSMT is to support and encourage talented young musicians by giving financial assistance towards their musical education, when they may otherwise not be able to afford it. It focuses on students studying organ, piano and voice within the regions of Birmingham, Worcestershire and the Southwest.
Tickets will also be available via the online shop: https://the-martin-schellenberg-music-trust.sumupstore.com/products
