BRIDPORT Police are investigating two incidents that happened in the area earlier this week.

The first incident involved a vehicle break-in near Birdsmoorgate in the Marshwood area.

This took place between Monday, November 7 and Tuesday, November 8, although it is believed nothing was stolen as there wasn't anything of value inside the car. 

Those with any information relating to this incicdent should contact the police via 101 using the reference number 55220182044.

In a separate incident, the force is also investigating a stolen ladder from the roof of a trade vehicle in the Bradpole area. 

The incident also took place on Monday, November 7 between 9pm and 9.30pm. 

People with any relevant information should contact the police by 101 with the crime reference number 55220181877.

The force has reminded the public to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to them, at the time on 101, or call 999 if you believe a crime is in progress.
