A flood warning has been issued for West Bay while the rest of the west coast of Dorset is on flood alert.
The forecast is for strong winds and the Environment Agency warns of large waves and spray overtopping at the harbour.
High water tonight was 5:48pm and in the morning will be at 6.08am. Water levels could remain high for several hours.
According to the Environment Agency, areas most at risk include the inner harbour, East Beach and the esplanade.
It warns members of the public to stay away from beaches, promenades, coastal footpaths and roads as large waves and sea spray could be dangerous.
A flood warning means you need to act as flooding is expected.
Meanwhile, a flood alert has been issued for the west Dorset coast. Tuesday morning's tide at 6:27am is higher than normal due to unsettled weather.
Areas most at risk are Chiswell and Chesil Beach, though the alert covers Lyme Regis, Charmouth, Seatown, West Bay, Bothenhampton, Burton Freshwater, Burton Bradstock, Cogden Beach, Chesil Beach, West Fleet, East Fleet and Chiswell
The warning is to be careful along beaches, promenades, coastal footpaths and roads as large waves and sea spray could be dangerous.
