It was touch and go as to whether or not firework displays would go ahead across west Dorset tonight.
Heavy rain and strong winds earlier today threatened to make Bonfire Night a washout.
Luckily, Bridport and Lyme Regis were able to go ahead.

Hundreds of people gathered along the seafront at Lyme to catch the dazzling display.
And Bridport gathered at the leisure centre to watch the rugby club's spectacular show.
Unfortunately, events in Dorchester and Charmouth were cancelled due to poor weather conditions.
