Police are appealing for the public to help locate a man who has gone missing from west Dorset.
Simon Cooper, aged 49, was reported as missing having left an address in the Askerswell area on foot at around 10.30am on Wednesday, November 2.
He is described as around six feet five inches tall and of medium to large build with short grey thinning hair and a tattoo on the back of his head. He was wearing a green hooded jacket, blue jeans and green trainers.
Inspector Gareth Bishop, of Dorset Police, said: “We understand Simon has been upset recently and we are concerned for his welfare.
“We are carrying out searches, with assistance from Dorset Search and Rescue (DorSAR), and I would urge anyone with information regarding Simon’s whereabouts to please contact us.
“I would also like to appeal directly to Simon if you see this – please make contact with us or your family and let us know where you are, so that we can make sure you are all right.”
