A PRIMARY school has expressed gratitude for their new donated sports kits.
The children from St. Catherine’s Catholic Primary School in Bridport have been fortunate to receive new running and football kits thanks to a kind donation from Batten’s Charitable Trust.
The trust, which was set up in 1985 and provides funding to many charitable causes, helped fund 24 new athletics vests and 15 football kits.
The school’s PTFA also made a generous contribution to the total cost.
A spokesperson said: "The school competes in lots of sporting events throughout the year and the children look forward to looking their best in the new kits."
Recent sporting accomplishments include winning a west Dorset schools tag rugby festival held in Bridport in October.
