Bridport's Bonfire by the Beach returned with a bang on Saturday evening.
The dazzling display on East Beach, in West Bay, entertained crowds from 8pm in a wonderful family-friendly event.
Live music kept the crowds entertained from 4pm right into te night with perfomances from the likes of Mustang Sally, Nina Garcia and Mama Feelgood.
The free bonanza is organised by Bridport Round Table in partnership with West Bay Days and has cemented its reputation as one of the area's most popular autumn events.
The evening is free of charge with profits going towards the Christmas Tree on Harbour Green and to support local charities and groups working for the benefit of the local community.
In 2021 the event raised £6,396.21, which has been put back into the community in various ways, with funding going to local organisations such as schools, youth activity centres, and food banks, and to other individual recipients within the community who have specific needs which cannot otherwise be met.
