A date has been set for the trial of a man charged with causing the death of a motorcyclist.
Christopher Banke, 72, appeared before Bournemouth Crown Court on October 27 to enter a formal plea.
He pleaded not guilty to one charge of death by careless or inconsiderate driving.
It relates to an incident on October 10, 2021, in which Adrian Saunders, aged in his 50s and from Exeter, died following a crash on the A3066 Tunnel Road near Beaminster.
Banke, of Merriott, near Crewkerne, Somerset, is accused of causing the death of Mr Saunders by driving a Landrover Freelander without due care and attention.
The case was adjourned for trial which will commence on June 5, 2023 at Bournemouth Crown Court.
