BRIDPORT Boxing Club chief Alan Slaney has issued a plea for supporters to collect their tickets for the club’s annual fight night.
Slaney will host a boxing bonanza of up to 18 bouts at Freshwater Beach Holiday Park on Saturday, November 26 and has sold out the event barring four tables.
However, some fans have not yet collected their tickets despite paying for them, with a handful more having not paid despite verbally agreeing to purchase them.
The dilemma has resulted in a halt in ticket sales and Slaney urged ticket holders and those with pre-bookings to collect and pay as soon as possible.

He told the Bridport News: “We’ve got some people – don’t get me wrong, they’ve been very good to us – they just haven’t collected their tickets yet.
“Some of them have paid and some haven’t. I just wondered if people could come and collect them.
“We’ve still got tables left but the most important thing is that there are seven or eight people that have not collected their tickets.
“I’m getting a bit worried because it’s getting nearer and I’m going to be away at weekends with boxing because it’s getting into the season.
“There’s still a month to go but I’d sooner people have them in their pockets now, rather than a day before.”
To collect or purchase tickets, contact Slaney on 01308 425108.
Tickets are still available for purchase at £20 per person or £200 per table.
