There will be a reduction in bus services between Lyme Regis and Seaton at the end of this month.
From Monday, October 31 the AVMT 378 service which runs between the two towns will reduce from four buses each way between Monday and Saturday to a more limited service running instead between Monday and Friday.
West Dorset Western Area Transport Group's (WATAG) Alan Williams has reviewed other local services that run Monday-Saturday and has identified that by using the First Wessex X51/X53 to Axminster Railway Station there are hourly connections to Seaton, Beer and onward to Exeter via Sidmouth.
There is also a direct service using the X53 to link with the Stagecoach 44A Exeter service every two hours.
An up to date timetable showcasing the latest changes to services, including connection points will be available from the Lyme Regis Town Council Offices.
