An evening of soul and blues classics is set to take centre stage in Lyme Regis.
The Great British Soul and Blues Revue is heading to the Marine Theatre with a unique supergroup performance from Jo Harman, Mike Mayfield, Eddy Smith and Joanna Cooke.
The collaboration will commemorate some of the biggest blues hits from classics to dancefloor 70s which promises to get everyone up and dancing.
The supergroup is made up of successful artists with Jo Harman holding many awards to her name while Mike Mayfield has played with stars including Ed Sheeran, Jessie J and Emeli Sande.
Eddy Smith has been compared to Joe Cocker, Van Morrison and Rag 'n' Bone Man as he and his band 'Eddy Smith and the 507', have entered onto UK's Americana scene.
Rising star Joanna Cooke completes the lineup who has been described by Motown's Martha Reeves as 'that baby girl who sings the blues'.
Julie Sheppard, of Jazz Jurassica, who are producing on the event said: “We’re very excited to bring this one-off show to Lyme Regis.
"Any one of these artists merit a headline slot but to have all four on stage, singing these iconic songs together, will be off the scale – backed by an ace band. It’ll be a long time before we see anything like it again, so don’t miss it”.
Tickets for the event are available at www.jazzjurassica.co.uk and are cheaper if they are purchased in advance.
If purchased ahead of the event entry is priced at £16 for adults and £8 for those under 18.
The music kicks off at 8 pm on Friday, October 21.
