BEAMINSTER 2
MERLEY COBHAM RESERVES 3
BEAMINSTER continue to search for a first victory of the Dorset Senior League season after losing 3-2 to Merley Cobham Reserves at the Memorial Ground.
Isaac House and Noah House missed chances to open the scoring for the Rainbows before Paul Honeybun handed Merley the lead just before half-time.
Isaac House made amends with a skilful equaliser after the break, tricking his way into a shooting position and executing a fine finish.
Their parity lasted only a handful of minutes as Merley's Ben Bosley punished a mistake for 2-1.

And Merley doubled their margin of advantage when Charlie Shears finished when unmarked inside the box.
Noah House won and converted a penalty for Beaminster in reply but the hosts could not fashion a late leveller.
Beaminster manager Neil Holt said: "I think we deserved to get at least a point from the game but if the players keep performing the way they are a win is only around the corner."
