A COMMUNITY variety show will be staged to raise money for good causes.
The show, featuring six local talented acts, will be at the LATCH Community Hall at Litton Cheney, near Bridport on Saturday, October 8.
Funds will be raised for the “Closer to Home” project, Dementia UK and Thorner’s School Association.
Among the acts to be performing are Bridport Youth Dance.
There will be cabaret style seating for viewing the show, with a complimentary glass of wine on arrival and free tea or coffee during the interval.
On the night there will be a fundraising auction, with quality prizes donated by local businesses and these prizes will be drawn between each act.
People are invited to enter the charity show photography competition, for which the topic is 'Life in the Bride Valley Today'. Entries should be submitted as A5 size photographs only.
Judging of the competition will be by the audience during the show. The competition fee is £5 for adults and £1 for children under 16 and there are great prizes on offer for both categories. The closing date for entries is Friday, September 30.
