AN EXHIBITION showcasing "optimistic paintings" is to go on display at Lyme Regis Museum.
In Our Hands is a collection of paintings from Caroline Ireland.
They've been "inspired by folk-art" and feature an abundance of colour and pattern aimed at highlighting "human interconnection with the natural world."
Caroline Ireland has lived and worked as an artist in west Dorset for over twenty years.
She works mainly in watercolour and soft pastels - often in combination as with this most recent collection.
In Our Hands will be at the Rotunda Gallery, Lyme Regis Museum from Tuesday, September 6 until Sunday, October 23.
Admission charges apply and more information can be found by visiting www.lymeregismuseum.com
