There was a hatful of fun to be had as one of the area's quirkiest festivals made a return.
The main day of Bridport Hat Festival was today (Haturday) and there was an array of wonderful headgear on show from people of all ages.
A celebration of hats, the festival is a fundraiser for head-related charities and a giant end of summer party for the town and its visitors - all run by volunteers.
The most creative, quirky, stylish and inventive headwear combines with live music, competitions, shows, an auction, games, hatted dogs and much more, all ‘topped’ off by a huge mass hat-wearing photoshoot in Bucky Doo Square.
Last year's event was scaled back due to ongoing concerns around the pandemic, however, the much-loved festival returned in its full glory this year.
